Floor Polishing Benefits
Concrete floor polishing provides a high-performance aesthetic alternative to epoxy floor coatings that reduces maintenance costs and cleaning in commercial and industrial environments. Whether existing or new concrete polishing projects, Industrial Safety Coatings can help. Additionally, ISC assists with proper low-cost maintenance and floor care ideas and methods for your polished concrete floor investment. Added aesthetics include integral stained concrete into the polishing process that, if desired, will leave a stained and polished concrete floor option. Finally, when necessary ISC can also restore concrete surfaces by providing our concrete polishing and staining process into and self-leveling cement overlayment for older slabs in poor condition.

The glossy, reflective finish not only looks great but is easy to maintain as well. While other flooring options need intense cleaning and maintenance, polished concrete doesn’t. Polished concrete is stain resistant. This makes for easy clean up. All you need to do is dust mop and occasionally wipe it down with cleaning products. No waxing or stripping required.
Polished concrete is one of the most cost-effective flooring options available. Low maintenance means low cost. You won’t need to waste money on keeping the floor clean or maintained. The reflective finish improves lighting in your facility, which means lower energy costs. If you’re looking for a way to save money, polished concrete is the way to go.
Because of the cleanliness of our process and the fact that we don’t use chemicals, there is no need to shut down your facility. Once the process is complete, you are able to continue working right away. Time is money, and polished concrete helps you keep moving.
Looks Great and Customizable
Matte, satin and high gloss are among the finish options available. Different colors are also available. We can even put a design into the floor, like your company logo.
Good for the Environment
At Industrial Safety Coatings, we hold our crews to the highest standards and make sure each stage is done right before moving on. Our polishing process typically involves 3 stages:
- Floor Preparation and cleaning
- Sealing any cracks or joints and densify the concrete
- Polishing using heavy-duty diamond tools to buff the floors
– During the polishing stage, we take our time to make sure we achieve the desired shine.
*Please note that this process can vary slightly depending on your color and design requests. The condition of your floor and other factors may also affect the process.
